YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Spring Session – Week #8
APRIL 12-14
1.WELCOME BACK! This is week # 8 – the final week of your regular competition. You are seated today in order of your current standings. Next week we will have our end of the session and end of the season awards and refreshments, and will have no-tap bowling for fun. Also, in addition to your favorite hats, we are going to have “Crazy Socks” day, so rummage through your dresser drawers to find your craziest socks and sport them next week, if you like.
2.Final House-level results for the National Family Tournament are posted on the window across from the control desk. Thanks to all of our participants and congratulations to the youth and their partners who will advance to the state level.
3.Thurs. 3:30/Sat. 8:30 and 10:30 ONLY: The March Madness Bracket standings are posted on the bulletin board above the kiosks. After today’s scores are entered, we will know our winners. We will give out the prizes next week during awards. Good luck to those still in the running!
4.Important Notice for Scholarship Participants: Today you will receive your entries for the SMART tournament that is scheduled for April 28th at 10:00 a.m. Entry deadline is April 21st – NEXT SATURDAY! So act on it right away and turn it back in to get registered. All bowlers will bowl 3 games that day at 10:00 a.m. Please don’t set this aside or you will risk losing valuable scholarship funds into your SMART account.
5.Adult and Youth Spring Bowling Leagues begin Tuesday, May 1st at 7:00 p.m. These are 2 person teams, any combination of youth and/or adults. The league is nearly full – if not full already. Check with us at the Control Desk if you are still thinking of participating in that league.
